Exaltation: The Sun is exalted in Aries — the Cardinal Fire sign of initiation and new beginnings. Here the Sun's vitality is at its most dynamic and initiating, reaching its highest expression not in the sustained glow of Leo but in the explosive first spark of creative will.

Jungian Meaning: The Sun is the archetype of the Self made visible — the direct experience of one's own centre, felt as simple, immediate, radiant aliveness.
